40,000 Reads!! August 28, 2014

Hey peeps!

It’s been a while, as usual. I have been up to no good again, and have entered a new fandom!

The 5SOS fandom…! 

It started not long ago, but I am already 100% obsessed  in their music, their Keeks, and of course – the people. I think they are all so talented – c’mon, they play instruments!! And I know, loads of people play instruments in the music industry, but I really admire these four young men. In less than a month, I have accumulated a poster… a cd… drawings… music… and I have started two fanfictions – which I will not post on Wattpad – at least not till I think they’re somewhat good.

But this leads on nicely to the main point of this post – I have reached 40,000 reads on SSMFVK! It’s such a surprise for me – I recall last July, I had around 13,000 reads, 190 votes and 68 comments – then you compare that to the stats now – 40,000 reads, 600 votes and 100 comments! I wonder what has made it grow so much in the past year? Maybe anime had a growth spurt, which led to more people wanting to read fanfics…. which led to me getting 40,000 reads…

I must say, I feel rather guilty, because as soon as I started liking 5 Seconds of Summer, I gave up on the anime scene. I literally have not watched an episode since early July… I do want to go back to anime, but now I realised how much time it uses up – and how much I want to watch 5SOS instead. Maybe when I go back to school, it will change. You never know. Maybe my love for 5SOS will die down, and I will go back to anime!

I have pre-ordered 5SOS’s book, which I am very happy about. It won’t arrive till October, but even so, I am glad that I have determined its delivery. ^o^ I wonder if anyone wants to see my drawings… well, they’re not masterpieces, they’re just half-heartedly drawn pictures that fill up space on my wall. I don’t like seeing empty walls. 

And one more thing, I have entered the competition to win tickets for the iTunes Festival, to see 5SOS. It’s highly unlikely that I will win – the Roundhouse can only seat around 3,300. Think about how many tens of thousands of fans want those tickets! If I win, I will be the happiest girl alive. C’mon, I already have the journey all planned out. I can’t do anything else to boost my chances, but just hope, wish and pray!

Hey!

It’s almost summer… yay! That means writing, writing and more writing for me. I need to make up for all the time lost due to school and homework… so expect some cool stuff coming your way! As it’s reaching summer, I realise how quickly time goes by. Soon enough, it’ll be Christmas… then 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018… And in a few decades time, I’ll probably have a job and a boyfriend. Sorry, emotional moment there.

Back on topic, I made some relatively cool things to go with ‘For Better, For Worse’, my recent work. If you haven’t checked it out, go ahead! I’m not sure if you’ll like it 😛 But I enjoy writing it, that’s for sure. Here are some photos!

The first picture isn’t a cover – no, I wouldn’t make the cover like that – but it has the three main characters! And the one just above was a publisher document which I cleverly saved as a JPEG 😀 I was so happy when it worked, haha 😀 So as you can see, I included some of my drawings along with the celebrities. I have no idea how I found Meisa Kuroki, but she’s awesome!!

I recently had exams and I didn’t do too badly – the thing is, everything got over 80 except for maths, which scraped off a 64%… terrible of me… I’m sort of happy but I need to patch up my maths before GCSE! I also had Mandarin GCSE speaking and listening, and my reading/writing will be in the beginning of June. Scary…

That’s all for today! Anime is doing well, I started ‘The World is Still Beautiful’ which is amazing, might I just say. And a creepyish J-drama called ‘I’m Mita, your Housekeeper’. Fun times…

Senri Shiki ~ 30,000!!! May 2, 2014

Hi all!
Oh my god, my Vampire Knight fanfiction reached 30,000 reads recently, and when I saw I flipped! I know it’s not as popular as probably half the stories on Wattpad, but for me that’s awesome. When I first joined Wattpad, pretty much no one liked me stories. Then I started watching anime and my life turned around…

You see I don’t know if you guys like my writing, or the storyline – or both. Still, it’s amazing to be liked by so many people. When I reached 100 fans, I was pretty amazed too. But I guess this is the turning point of my life. Let’s keep waiting for new chapters and new fanfictions. I would really like to finish some stories first, but I guess that won’t be happening.

On the topic of anime, I am currently halfway through Kimi to Boku 2. It’s so awesome. I honestly don’t want it to end! And I’ve started the huge war arc of Naruto. I will be occupied for quite some time! Also, in an episode of Naruto Shippuden… 250-260ish… was the Peace Viaduct episode and MY GOD I cried so much! Spoiler alert… When Konan died, I wasn’t incredibly sad because I never really took notice of her. But then they showed their younger selves, when everything was happy and Jiraiya was still there, in his frog suit… and the bit that triggered my 20 minute cry was when Konan’s blood-stained paper flies to the house they used to live in and sticks to her wooden block. And the others were all red and I was like THEY’RE FINALLY TOGETHER… after so much hardship… oh~~~ here I go again… 😥

For Better, For Worse

Long time no see 🙂
I’ll be posting 2 posts today, one about this new story and one about my trip to Nepal! Please enjoy both 🙂

Here we are then: For Better, For Worse

This is my most recent story, about a girl who moved to the US to get plastic surgery at the age of 13, returning to Japan at 16 to model. But she ends up going to school in Japan, and meets the childhood friend she had lost contact with. The two always spoke of marriage when they were younger, but now they can’t even look each other in the eye. Will their relationship blossom? Or will they never be friends?

I thought of this story some time last year. I wanted to set a story in Japan without it being anime related. And since it’s my most recent work, the writing is of my current standard. Not immature or silly, but what I am now. I really enjoy writing this story, and like with every story I start, I think it will be the best.

2014! January 7, 2014

Happy New Year, everyone! What a year 2013 was. Certainly in terms of anime… 😀
I wanted to blog to commemorate the end of my Senri Shiki ‘series’ on Wattpad. I say ‘series’ because it’s only really two books and they’re both so short that they’d be perfectly fine as one book. Lol. I am happy with their stats, despite the fact that the first chapters have loads of reads but all the others don’t… I haven’t been drawing lately but all the same, I love it. Also I haven’t been very active on Instagram but that’s fine, I don’t use it very much anyway. I’m starting a new story about twins who go to private sister schools but are separated at the gates and end up going to each other’s schools (the twins are boy and girl, so they have to become the opposite gender). I’ve started doing some drawings for them, hopefully they’ll be on Instagram (!) Anime wise, I am currently watching Naruto Shippuden, Reborn, Gintama and Pokemon Advanced.
I know this is mainly just a short post about stories on Wattpad, but I hope you have made resolutions and are doing well so far this year!

Teach Me How to Love, Mr Baker December 2, 2012

Hey peeps! It’s been a while, hey? I’m down with a horribly runny nose 😦 but I’m definitely in the Christmas mood! 24 days ^_~
My main purpose of this post was to tell peeps about my new story which I will hopefully start writing in the new year. The title is ^ up there… And here’s a character picture with cast below!

Want the plot???
Emma’s childhood friends Alex and Ollie move back in next door after leaving to England for 10 years. Alex is 5 years older than Emma, Ollie is the same age. Just as Emma begins to fall for Alex again, they start the new semester with Alex as her form tutor!!! But Ollie also likes Emma… And chaos sparks when he finds out she and his brother has been kissing whilst he’s sleeping!
Background info:
Emma: 16 years old, 161cm, blonde, hazel blue eyes, loves fire, karate, and summer. Her dad died shortly after a divorce whilst trying to protect her from a falling log.
Alex: 22, 180cm, light brunette, brown eyes, loves English, and poems. Emma used to cling to him a lot when he was still around. He moved to England when he was 12.
Ollie: 16, 172cm, dirty blonde, brown eyes, loves baseball, karate and geography. He heard that Emma started karate so he did too. He used to be quite wimpy, and moved to England when he was 7 with Alex.
Alice: 30, 165, blonde, hazel blue eyes, loves being a nurse, medicine, and helping people. Emma’s sister, 14 years apart. Married to James Grant and has a three year old daughter called Sylvia.
Nathan: 26, 176, light brown, light brown eyes, loves football, Man Utd, being a designer. Has a girlfriend called Millie, they are engaged.

Random talk September 28, 2012

Oh my goodness gracious me! More than two thousand reads on Sirius has to die is what Draco says! I know it sounds cheesy but I’m so proud of it… It’s such a nice feeling when people read your stories ^_~ I think Wattpad is amazing… To show the world your inner beauty! Haha, I was joking. 🙂
I finished reading Stormbreaker and watched the film 😍 Alex Pettyfer is so bloody hot!! Almost finished Vampire Knight which is very saddening 😨 I do hope Zero and Yuki get together. Hate you Kaname. Sorry for my strong opinion but really! Why Kaname, why!?!?! By the way I am reading the manga, I have finished the anime – ages ago! In fact I was watching it during exam time whoooooops… Should I share a picture??

It’s LaLa magazine! ❤❤❤ don’t actually read it but the fact that Kaichou wa Maid-sama and Vampire Knight are in it is Amazing! Except Fairy Tail isn’t in it but what do you expect??
Moving on, my hair keeps getting greasy! I don’t have time to wash it but still… Can’t you wait a little?? Earlier this month I scraped my hand on my bicycle gear (BY ACCIDENT – not) it was my enemy’s fault. She told me to put my right hand on my left handlebar and just when I swerved I jerked my hand back, causing it to scrape on the sharp gear. There was a layer of moist fat which I didn’t dare to touch. It’s mainly cleared up now, just a scar left. 🙂
Let’s wrap things up. I want to go to sleep now!

Kimi ni Todoke ^_~ August 27, 2012

Hey everyone! I recently started Kimi ni Todoke, which is a manga by Karuho Shiina. Quick summary?
Sawako Kuronuma has always been a loner, with her scary looks. When she was a child her friend accidentally called her Sadako, and so the name stuck onto her. Now at fifteen, everyone thinks she can communicate with ghosts! But when Kazehaya begins talking to her, she feels like her life is changing…
Soooo what do you think? The manga has 16 volumes and is still ongoing. I’m watching the anime right now, it’s amazing!! I really like Sawako’s hair in chapter 26 I even spent like half an hour trying to do it myself >.< but the result was pretty good! Anyway, picture of the first cover and Sawako's birthday hair!
